Covid-19 Office Procedures

At our office, we have new procedures and protocols in accordance with guidelines from the CDC and state requirements. The purpose is to keep our patients and colleagues safe.

What we are doing to ensure your safety:

  • Practitioners will wear KN95 mask during sessions.
  • Practitioners will wash hands between patients and use 70% alcohol-based sanitizer while with patients before and after touching anything, including patients.
  • All high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, faucets, and handrails, will be sanitized between patients, and at the end of the day with Covid-19 killing disinfectants.
  • We have alcohol-based hand sanitizer and tissues in the office.
  • We are ensuring social distancing in the waiting room and ask that you do not come early for your appointment, and that you come alone into the office.
  • We will check your temperature and your oxygen level when you enter the treatment room.
  • We will have a plastic bin for any personal items you wish to remove before your treatment.
  • Contact-free payment and online payment is available, and we also have sanitized pens.
  • We will contact you before your appointment and request that you complete a COVID-19 waiver electronically. A copy will be furnished to you upon request.

During this time, we ask the following from you:

  • Before each appointment, you will receive a short questionnaire by email. This is a pre-screening document that must be filled online out before every appointment.
  • Wear a mask for your appointment.
  • Please do not arrive early and sit in the waiting room.
  • Try not to bring unnecessary items, such as bags, computers, umbrellas, water bottles, etc.
  • When you arrive, please wait in your car or outside the building, and text 617-645-0073.
  • We will call you and let you know when you can come into the office for your appointment.
  • Please wash your hands with soap and water before and after each session.
  • As you enter, please try to avoid touching any surfaces.
  • We encourage respiratory etiquette from you; please cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, and then throw tissue into our touch-free barrels.
  • Please avoid touching your face.
  • Stay home if you feel ill, have respiratory or digestive symptoms, or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within 14 days.
  • Sign our COVID-19 waiver in the office if you have not done so electronically. To view the waiver, click here. You will have to print, sign, and bring it with you to your appointment.
  • Thank you for your help and cooperation to keep everyone in our community safe.
